The Life You’ve Been Thinking About at 2 a.m. Starts Here.
No more circling, wishing, or white-knuckling your way through a life that stopped fitting… wondering if it will change.
High-support 1:1 coaching with science-based tools, honest conversations, and a coach who’s been body-slammed by her own life enough to know exactly what’s keeping you stuck in yours.
You’re done waiting. It’s time to create a life that actually feels good to live in.
If Fine Stopped Being Good Enough A Long Time Ago—
Right now your life feels like a never-ending list of other people’s needs, old patterns, and decisions you keep postponing because you’re too exhausted to trust yourself anymore.
For midlife women balancing careers, businesses, leadership roles, caregiving, and everybody else’s expectations, that kind of exhaustion adds up fast.
You’re showing up for everyone. Handling everything. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you disappeared.
Something has to give. And for once, it doesn’t have to be you.
This isn’t just coaching. It’s brain untangling, nervous system work, and a full brain, body, and boundaries reset… for the patterns that have been keeping you stuck on autopilot for years.
No more survival mode or burnout wrapped in productivity. Just a life that actually fits who you are now.
Any Of this Sound Familiar?
01. Your Brain Won’t Shut Up and You Are Done.
You wake up already thinking. Replaying conversations from three years ago, second-guessing decisions you already made, catastrophizing things that haven’t even happened yet. Decision-making feels exhausting. Relaxing? LOL. It’s like your brain has one setting: chaos.
💡 GOOD NEWS: That relentless loop isn’t a personality flaw. It’s a nervous system stuck in protection mode. We work on quieting the mental chaos, making decisions without the three-day spiral, and building the kind of self-trust that doesn’t require a group chat vote.
02. You’ve Spent Decades Showing Up For Everyone Else. Your Own Life Is Still Waiting.
You’re the fixer. The strong one. The person everyone calls when life falls apart while yours quietly unravels in the background. You keep saying you’ll put yourself first. You mean it every time. And yet here you are, exhausted, overextended, and running on whatever’s left after everyone else takes their cut.
✔ WHAT SHIFTS: We flip that script. You’ll learn how to set boundaries that don’t collapse under pressure, stop over-giving out of guilt, and finally put yourself back on your own priority list. Selfish? No. You’ll finally have energy for your own damn life.
03. The Business — or the Career — Stopped Fitting. But Walking Away Feels Like Losing.
You built something. A business. A career. An identity wrapped so tightly around what you do that you’re not sure who you are without it. And now it’s not working financially, emotionally, or in any way that makes Monday feel survivable. Leaving feels like failure. Staying feels like slow suffocation. So you stay stuck in “figuring it out.”
💡 WHAT CHANGES: This is usually an identity shift disguised as a business problem. We untangle what’s fear, what’s grief, and what’s a legitimate sign it’s time to move. Then we build a path forward intentionally instead of by accident.
04. Retirement — or Whatever Comes Next — Looks Nothing Like You Planned.
Maybe retirement feels less like freedom and more like freefall. Or the kids left, the role changed, the relationship ended, or life suddenly got very quiet. And now you’re alone with your own thoughts for the first time in decades and realizing you’re not sure what comes next.
✔ THE SHIFT: That disorientation isn’t weakness. It’s your brain trying to reorganize around a reality it didn’t plan for. We give it something to reorganize around on purpose — a clear picture of what this next chapter looks like and the tools to build it without waiting for the anxiety to pass on its own.
Now Imagine If…
Trusting Yourself Felt As Natural As Second Guessing Used To
You Stopped Being the Last Person on Your List
Midlife Reinvention Felt Exciting Instead of Terrifying
No more replaying decisions for three days or crowdsourcing what you already know. You trust yourself, make decisions faster, and move forward without the spiral.
Your energy belongs to you again. You wake up and your first thought isn’t about what everyone else needs from you. The guilt starts fading. The burnout stops running the show.
No guilt about outgrowing what you worked your ass off to build. No panic about what comes next. Just clarity, confidence, and the courage to build a life that actually fits who you are now.
UNstuck
A high-support 1:1 coaching experience designed to help you break the patterns keeping you stuck, rebuild self-trust, and create a life that actually feels good to live in.
Let’s be honest… if a vision board was going to fix this, you’d already be thriving.
This is a full brain, body, and boundaries reset.
Over 90 days of private coaching, we’ll untangle the patterns exhausting you, quiet the mental chaos, and help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and ease instead of staying trapped in the same loops.
Rooted in neuroscience, behavior change, and nearly two decades of real-world experience, this work helps you:
✔ Break the thought loops that keep pulling you back to the same place
✔ Build boundaries that don’t collapse under pressure
✔ Make decisions without the three-day spiral
✔ Stop performing a life that stopped fitting and start building one that does
✔ Trust yourself again instead of outsourcing every decision to everyone else
Why Coaching With Me Feels Different
Your Brain Needs More Than a Pep Talk
You can vision-board your goals, buy the planner, listen to the podcast, and say your affirmations in matching workout clothes… but if your nervous system is exhausted and your patterns never change, good luck with that. Swearing helps initially, but working with your brain, not against it, is where change lives.
Humor Is Required at This Point
Midlife is weird. One minute you’re confidently meal prepping and the next you’re crying in the car because the grocery store was too loud. We’re allowed to laugh here. Honestly, sometimes humor is the only thing keeping the whole operation from turning into a Lifetime movie.
Real Life Doesn’t Fit Into Neat Little Categories
Some days we’re untangling burnout. Some days it’s boundaries, grief, confidence, relationships, identity shifts, career changes, or the fact that your business suddenly feels like a hostage situation. Life overlaps. So does this work.
I’ll Probably See the Pattern Before You Do
That’s not magic. It’s nearly two decades of helping people navigate change while also getting repeatedly body-slammed by my own life. I spot the thing underneath the thing quickly, which means we spend less time circling the problem and more time actually changing it.
This Is What Support Looks Like
Bi-Weekly Private Coaching Sessions
Two focused calls each month (90-minutes) where we sort through what’s happening, make decisions, identify what’s keeping you stuck, and map what comes next. I don’t do weekly calls for a reason.
Clients tell me they don’t need more conversations. They need time to process, implement, recover, and navigate real life without personal growth turning into another full-time job. We go deep, then you go do the thing. Then we go deep again.
Voxer Support Between Sessions
Because meltdowns, overthinking spirals, hard conversations, and “what the hell do I do right now?” moments do not wait for your next scheduled call.
Between sessions, you have access to me for perspective, accountability, course corrections, and the moments when your brain starts dragging you back toward the pattern you’re trying to break. That’s not a bonus feature. It’s the part that actually makes the coaching stick.
Brain + Body and Boundaries
This work is not just mindset. It never was.
We look at the full picture: your thought patterns, stress, boundaries, habits, relationships, and the real-life weight you’ve been carrying. Because you cannot always think your way out of something your body still feels unsafe inside.
This is not weakness. That’s being human. And it requires a different kind of support.
“I recommend Joyce 100%. She has a perspective on women’s midlife challenges that comes from lived experience. She’s intuitive, empathetic, and not afraid to challenge the belief systems you didn’t even know were running the show. I’ve worked with a business coach in the past but this was like the best of both worlds. Combining strategy with mindset is something I haven’t seen before.”
WE MIGHT BE A FIT IF…
🔘 You’re navigating a midlife crisis, divorce, empty nest, burnout, retirement, grief, or a major life transition and quietly thinking, “I can’t keep doing this the same way.”
🔘 You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, downloaded the freebies. And you’re still circling the same patterns six months later, wondering what the hell is wrong with you. (Nothing, by the way. Your brain is working exactly as designed. That’s the problem.)
🔘 Your life looks functional from the outside — but internally you feel disconnected, restless, emotionally flat, or like you’ve been performing a version of yourself that doesn’t fit anymore.
🔘 You want practical support, honest conversations, real accountability, and someone who can help you untangle what’s actually keeping you stuck… without the affirmations and the fluff.
THIS WON’T WORK IF…
🔘You want someone to fix your life while you stay exactly the same.
🔘 You’re looking for passive coaching, surface-level advice, or someone to tell you what you want to hear while your life quietly keeps unraveling.
🔘 You refuse to take action between sessions and expect clarity to arrive like an Amazon package.
🔘 You want transformation without discomfort, accountability, or honest conversations about the patterns keeping you stuck.
🔘 You’re looking for quick answers to problems that took years to build.
How It Works
Complimentary Fit Conversation
We start with a relaxed, no-pressure conversation about what’s going on, what’s keeping you stuck, and whether this level of support makes sense for where you are right now. No pretending your life is fine when it clearly isn’t.
Deep Dive Assessment
If we decide to move forward, you’ll complete a detailed intake so I can quickly spot the patterns, stressors, blind spots, and habits affecting how you think, feel, and function day to day. Basically: less guessing, faster clarity.
Bi-Weekly Coaching Sessions
Twice a month, we dig into what’s happening in real time. Decisions, burnout, boundaries, relationships, identity shifts, career questions, nervous system chaos… all of it. Honest conversations without turning personal growth into another full-time job.
Support Between Sessions
Because life does not wait politely for your next Zoom call. You’ll have Voxer access between sessions for the overthinking spirals, hard conversations, “well crap” moments, and course corrections that happen when you least expect them.
Investment
This is hands-on support for people navigating burnout, reinvention, and the occasional “is this a midlife crisis or a hormone situation?” moment. We’ll have honest conversations, look at the patterns keeping you stuck, and focus on real-life change instead of waiting for motivation to magically arrive and fix everything.
✔ 3-Month Coaching Experience: $1,200/month
✔ 6-Month Coaching Experience: $1,000/month
The deeper work takes time. Clients committing to six months receive preferred pricing because lasting change rarely happens in one breakthrough conversation and a Tuesday podcast binge.
✔ Two 90-minute private coaching sessions monthly
✔ Voxer support between sessions
✔ Limited spots available because this is high-support work, not group coaching pretending intimacy at scale
If you’re ready to stop circling the same patterns and finally move forward differently, let’s talk.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
My sweet spot is women in their 50s and 60s who are done holding everything together for everyone else and finally ready to figure out what they actually want.
That usually looks like entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and high-performing professionals navigating burnout, reinvention, major life transitions, or the uncomfortable realization that the life they built no longer fits the person they’ve become.
Men work with me too — usually business owners or executives dealing with the same stuff, just less likely to admit it.
All sessions are virtual, so geography is never the issue.
What makes this different from life coaching or therapy?
Good question — and worth asking before you invest in either.
Traditional life coaching tends to focus on goals, action steps, and accountability. That’s useful if a goal is your problem. But if your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, your thought patterns are running the show, and you’ve been carrying the same emotional weight for years, goal-setting alone isn’t going to cut it.
Therapy is valuable — and this isn’t it. We’re not diagnosing, processing childhood trauma, or doing clinical work. We’re looking at the patterns keeping you stuck right now, understanding what’s driving them, and building the tools to change them.
What this is: brain-based behavior change work that sits in the space between the two. The science of how your brain works, applied to your actual life
What can I expect from our sessions?
You may have heard of the 70/30 rule in coaching — where the coach stays quiet and lets you talk 70% of the time.
That’s not how I work.I don’t show up and ask how your week went. That’s not coaching — that’s a check-in.
Every session has a purpose. We dig into what’s happening, figure out what’s driving it, and you leave with something concrete — a tool, a reframe, a decision, a next move you can use before we talk again.
The neuroscience gets explained in Layman’s terms so you understand what your conscious and subconscious are doing behind the scenes — the decisions they’re making without your permission, the stories they’re running on autopilot, and why willpower alone has never been enough to change any of it.
Between sessions you’re not on your own. That’s what Voxer is for.
What is a midlife coach?
A midlife coach works specifically with the kind of change that hits in your 50s and 60s — the identity shifts, the major transitions, and the accumulated weight of a life that no longer fits the person you’ve become.
My version of midlife coaching is a little different. I bring nearly two decades of business coaching, strategy, and mindset work into one experience — so whether you’re an entrepreneur questioning everything, an executive burned out from decades of performing, or someone staring down a major life transition with no roadmap, we work on all of it. The business side and the human side. Because at this stage of life they’re never actually separate.
What are the triggers for a midlife crisis?
A midlife crisis rarely announces itself. It usually shows up as a slow burn — a creeping restlessness, a growing sense that something is off, or a specific moment that cracks everything open.
Common triggers include:
- Divorce or the end of a long-term relationship
- Kids leaving home
- Career burnout or the realization that the work stopped meaning anything
- Retirement — planned or forced
- The death of a parent, partner, or close friend
- A health scare — yours or someone you love
- Business failure or a major financial shift
- An identity built around a role that no longer exists
Most people navigating midlife are dealing with several at once — which is why it feels so heavy and so hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t been there.
This is exactly the work I do. Not crisis management or a suggestion to buy a Corvette. What feels like a breakdown is usually a signal that something needs to change.
What does midlife mean?
Technically, midlife refers to the middle period of life — roughly your 40s through your 60s. But anyone actually living it knows it’s less a number and more a feeling.
It’s the moment you look up from the life you’ve been building and wonder if it’s actually the one you wanted. It’s the gap between who you thought you’d be by now and who you actually are. It’s the realization that time is no longer an abstract concept — and that if something is going to change, it probably needs to happen now.
Midlife isn’t a crisis waiting to happen. It’s a transition — one that nobody taught us how to navigate, that doesn’t come with a roadmap, and that hits differently when you’ve spent decades being the person who holds everything together.
The good news? It’s also one of the most powerful opportunities for reinvention most people will ever have.
That’s exactly what this work is built for.
But what if I don't know what I need?
That’s the most common place people start — and honestly, it’s the whole point of coaching.
You don’t need to arrive with a clear problem, a specific goal, or any idea of what comes next. Getting you from where you are to where you want to be is literally what this work is built for. That’s the job.
My superpower is helping you cut through the noise, figure out what’s actually going on, and map a path forward — even when you can’t see it yourself yet.
If you’re not sure whether coaching is the right fit at all, start with the Stuck to Started session. One focused hour before committing to anything more.
